Just visit anyone's page and add them as a friend. That person will receive a message notifying him or her and can choose to reciprocate or not. - What constitutes a friend I can link to?

Communities
- What is a community?
Communities are groups within the main group. There are currently no communities. We will be posting more information on how to create communities in the future. - How do I link to other communities?

Security
- How secure is the site?
Only members can access the site and only they can change their own profiles. Don't put any information in your profile you don't want all other users to be able see. You also have control to toggle any field in your profile to "private." All messages sent using the internal messaging system can only be seen by the sender and the receiver.
